July 28-31 and August 4-7 - A 4-day session for ages 9-12 with field trips - 12-5 pm $175/session Pre-registration required.
AFTERSCHOOL CLASSES - Juniors ages 8-12, Seniors ages 13-17
Ages 8-12 Tuesdays 3:30-5:30pm Fee: $20.00
Ages 13-17 Thursdays 4:00-6:00pm Fee $25.00
COOKING CLASS INFORMATION & SCHEDULE FOR FALL
Welcome to all who love to cooks! Kitchen 14 – Hillsborough’s first community cooking classroom dedicated to teaching all ages and skill levels delicious and creative meals. Class topics include traditional southern cooking to exotic international cuisine. You will be able to cook in five languages before you know it! No experience necessary. We will also offer After School Culinary Programs for kids and teens, as well as winter holiday and summer programs.
Kitchen 14 cooking classes are designed to introduce the amateur chef to the wonderful world of cooking and to enhance the skills of serious accomplished cooks. You will experience an inviting atmosphere in the kitchen, where all good things begin! Also, you will take recipes home to add to your collection and enjoy samples of delicious recipes prepared during class. In no time you will impress your friends and family with your culinary skills and gourmet touch.
Our teachers are all area chefs, cooks, bakers, caterers, authors, artists, and craftsmen who will inspire you with their creativity, skills, and knowledge. We will also be offering other community classes topics such as gardening, decorating, and nutrition designed to enhance your quality of life and that of your family and friends.

• Classes will be mostly demonstration with some hands-on classes, depending on the topic.
• You are welcome to volunteer to assist with classes. Please call to sign up.
• Recipes and any text used will be provided.
• Aprons will be provided for hands-on classes and assisting.
• For hands-on classes, please tie long hair back.
• Students under 12 should be accompanied by parent or adult attendee.
• Pre-payment (credit card, cash or check is required for registration
• In the event of cancellation, pre-paid registrants receive class credit in the form of a gift certificate if notice is received two days prior to class.
If weather should force us to cancel a class, pre-paid registrants will receive a credit in the form of a gift certificate. We don't want anyone getting out in bad weather -ice, snow, or a forecast of either, or hurricane conditions - so don't try to come - class will be Rescheduled!
